Responsibilities: • Connect with the housekeeping department to ensure guest accommodations are ready • General bookkeeping: ensure all hotel guest account information is accurate and up-to-date • Handle customer complaints as necessary • Greet, check-in, and check out guests when they arrive and leave the premises, distribute keys and room assignments, and record credit card information • Take incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guests’ needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests • Give every guest a warm welcome and check them in, ensuring you provide the correct keys and room numbers • Check guests out when they leave, ensuring an excellent stay and a warm goodbye • Make guestroom deliveries, keep the front desk clean, and walk the property. Complete other tasks as necessary • Manage room bookings in person, online, and through incoming calls Qualifications: • Has previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems • Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations • Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills • 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred • 1+ year of hotel industry experience or related job preferred • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent • Working knowledge of using computers, the internet, and smartphones • Positive attitude, good customer service skills • Neatly groomed, fingernails trimmed and maintained, no face or neck tattoos • Likes to stay up late or is a night owl Compensation: $17.50 hourly
