Job Summary

We are seeking a professional Safety Manager to join our team. In this role, you will establish policies to create and maintain a safe workplace and ensure company-wide compliance with those policies. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with the ability to educate a varied workforce on the importance of safety and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

Follow legal guidelines to create and execute health and safety plans

Enforce health and safety policies within the workplace

Evaluate existing practices to assess their risk and adherence to the law, revise as necessary

Conduct company-wide trainings and presentations to educate employees on accident prevention and other health and safety concerns

Monitor compliance with health and safety guidelines

Inspect equipment and workspaces to identify potentially unsafe conditions

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in safety management or related field is preferred

Be able to work 6:00pm to 6:00am

Previous experience as a Safety manager is preferred

Knowledge of health and safety guidelines

Strong written communication skills with the ability to write policies and reports

Understanding of risk assessment and data analysis

Strong attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable giving presentations in large groups
