JOB TITLE: OUTSIDE SALES DRIVER

DEPT: SALES

REPORTS TO: THIS POSITION WILL REPORTS TO THE SALES SUPERVISOR FOR THE DESIGNATED AREA.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Come join a winning team! We are seeking a route support driver. This position will help to cover various routes to service various customer accounts. This includes delivering product and merchandising product. We offer a stable and family-oriented working environment!

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

60% outside Sales

15% Driving to customer locations and keeping logs based on DOT rules

5% Unloading product restocking shelves and rotating product.

6 Loading product into truck and counting inventory.

5 Completion of settle-up sheets and expense reports.

4 Collection of payments from cash accounts or delinquent accounts

5 Fueling truck and submission of truck for scheduled maintenance.

WORK ENVIRONMENT – CRITICAL POINTS

• Ability to follow all OSHA and DOT standards of safety and guidelines to ensure compliance

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Be able to lift up to 35lbs, walk, stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• College degree in business preferred; independent, self-motivated, and organized.

• Knowledge of basic computer functions, (i.e., downloading documents, email, internet, Microsoft Word, etc.)

• Work independently and display a professional demeanor representing clients.

• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

• 1+ years’ experience in retail, sales, or a field-based supervisor role.

• Personal access to functional tools such as Smart phone or Smart pad and computer.

REQUIREMENTS

• 1+ years’ experience in Retail, Sales, or a Field Based supervisor role.

• Knowledge of basic computer functions, (downloading documents, email, internet, Microsoft Word, etc.)

• Ability to work independently and display a professional demeanor representing clients.

• Effective communication and problem solving skills

• Experience using personal access to functional tools such as Smart phone or Smart pad and computer.

• Ability to communicate timely with Management through phone or e-mail.

• Must be able to comply with all DOT requirements, including a clean MVR record.

• Access to reliable and insured vehicle with current and valid driver’s license.
