Job Description
This candidate will have an expert-level knowledge of network, voice, server, and datacenter technologies. The position is an intersection between Information Technology (IT) System Engineering, IT infrastructure Architecture, and IT life cycle management. The Systems Engineer serves as the principal architect for Infrastructure systems. This person will serve as the ultimate escalation point for Systems Administrators and provide mentorship and guidance to all members of the infrastructure team.
Qualifications:
- Formal training in computer hardware, software and networking or a Bachelor’s Degree
- 7-10 years related experience and/or training experience in network, server, and datacenter technology
- Certifications in Network, Server, or Datacenter certifications such as MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional), MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), A+, etc.
- 3-5 years of advanced architecture and infrastructure experience
- Basic experience with AS/400 environment would be helpful
- Expert knowledge of all aspects of IT Infrastructure including network, voice, server, storage, datacenter, cloud, and cyber security
- Proven Project Management experience
- Any cert in VMware, Networking, Microsoft etc

Responsibilities:
- Consults with business leaders and IT leadership to align IT portfolio to sustain ACR growth initiatives
- Technical advisor on pros and cons of potential infrastructure approaches
- Leads design and development activities, and provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology
- Incorporates new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations ensuring that all control gates are met on schedule
- Develop procedures and automated solutions to support the customer service operation
