    Personal Care Staff Position - Training provided - Part-Time Second and overnight shifts available. Even if you are not from the area, you will feel right at home in our beautiful setting and in our modern facility. You will be supervised by our Administrator and/or Director of Nursing. Availability for every other weekend. This position is also open to students who are interested in healthcare! Responsibilities: • Help residents get to/from activities or meals • Assists residents with activities of daily living • Help maintain safe, healthy, and secure living conditions • Demonstrates kindness, care, and empathy to residents • Help administer medications to residents - only as Certified Med Tech under the direction of the Director of Nursing • May have the opportunity to become Med Tech certified • Adhere to OSHA standards and guidelines • Maintain good attendance, arrive on time ready, and prepare to perform job functions daily • Communicate clearly to residents, family members, and administrators in a timely manner Qualifications: • A High School diploma or G.E.D. is required • Aged 21 or older • At least two years of related experience preferred • Flexibility in scheduling able to work every other weekend • Must be willing to travel during inclement weather Operations are 24/7, 365 days per year. Occasional flexibility in shifts is appreciated; occasional overtime may be required. Must be able to pass a drug test and obtain criminal clearances from e-Patch. If you have not been a Pennsylvania resident for at least a year you will also need to obtain an FBI fingerprint background check. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Resident-focused, customer service skills with listening skills • Ability to be empathetic and caring toward residents • CPR/First Aid certified or willing to be trained • Flexibility with the ability to adapt to changing situations and circumstances • Time management skills • Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and in a team setting • Collaboration skills • Strong work ethic • Honesty and integrity Compensation: $16 - $19 hourly
