Position: Summer Intern, Formulation Development Reporting To: Senior Scientist II Position Objective Nitto BioPharma, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery and development of novel RNA-based therapeutics for intractable diseases. The summer intern will be responsible for the preparation and characterization of nanoparticle-based formulations. The intern will also be responsible for the maintenance of lab and ordering supplies for the lab. Major Job Functions * Preparation of lab-scale liposome/ lipid-based formulations. * Characterization of formulations by employing dynamic light scattering, pH meter, osmometer, etc. * Preparation of buffers and stock solutions. * Ordering chemicals and supplies. * Maintenance of accurate records of experimental procedures, results, data analysis and generation of lab reports. Education, Licensure and/or Experience * Pursuing a B.Sc. in chemistry, biology or related field. Preferable with BS in Chemistry, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering or related discipline. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Ability to work well in collaborative fast-paced team environment.
