    Job Summary

    Noah's Ark Veterinary Resort is a privately owned small animal veterinary hospital in Millersville, MD. We are collaborative, supportive, and professional. We are seeking a compassionate Veterinarian to join the team at our positivity-focused clinic. You will primarily diagnose and treat dogs and cats; however, we also provide care for smaller animals at the doctor's discretion/comfort.     10 hour shift

    Monday to Friday

    No weekends (but potential for Saturday hours in the future)

    Pay types:

    Salary

    Base Salary + Commission pay

    Responsibilities

    Provide routine examinations

    Diagnose illnesses and recommend treatment

    Perform surgeries including dental, ophthalmic, and orthopedic

    Administer vaccinations

    Perform spay and neuter surgeries

    Prescribe medication

    Advise pet owners on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and overall pet well-being

    Update client records

    Qualifications

    Previous work experience as a veterinarian

    Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures (preferred)

    Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts in simple terms

    Problem-solving skills

    Patience and a love for animals (and people too!)

    Education:

    Doctorate (Required)

    License/Certification:

    Maryland Veterinary License

    Work Location: In person
