    Destiny HOME HEALTH Care is looking for a qualified Billing Clerk

    Duties Include;

    Assists in client invoicing and third party claim submission.

    Enters client data into system

    Verifies signed physician orders prior to claim submission.

    Verifies services provided from employee time record and documentation.

    Prepares claims for submission

    Submits claims either manually or electronically per agency protocol

    Responds to client inquiries regarding accounts.

    Posts cash receipts.

    Completes the accounts receivable billing and charge entry duties in a timely manner.

    Processes payroll for field staff timely and accurately.

    Audits time card records and identifies discrepancies.

    Batches timesheets for computer input as needed.

    Processes payroll withholding amounts.

    Responds to employee inquiries regarding payroll.

    Documents employee personnel change for computer and passes this information to passes this information to data entry staff.

    Completes all reports for the management team and forwards in a timely manner.

    Maintains confidentiality of all client and employee information.

    Performs job in compliance with agency policies and procedures as well as community standards and applicable laws.

    Communicates necessary information to Supervisor and managers staff to assure accuracy of data and coordination of agency forms.

    Performs additional duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.

    Company Description

    The Destiny Home Health and Hospice team is comprised of physicians and our caring and compassionate staff members who provide support to patients and loved ones around the clock, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our hospice team includes a Medical Director who will consult with your physician to manage pain, symptoms, and make house calls as needed. Our nurses will assess and manage your pain and provide overall care. Home health aides help with personal care and lighten the burden of caregivers by helping with light household chores. Our Social workers counsel and provide emotional support and help with financial planning and other life issues. Our Chaplains offer pastoral care, by addressing the spiritual concerns of patients and loved ones. Our volunteers are specially trained and are available to offer companionship, emotional support, and assist our patients and their families when they’re needed. Bereavement Support for loved ones continues for 12 months or longer after the patient has passed on.
