McKean Defense is seeking a Network Engineer to support U.S. Navy programs. The individual will have responsibility maintaining and controlling machinery control systems network environments; assisting with cybersecurity hardening and documentation; and supporting design, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving system/network issues.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Demonstrated skills with network design and implementation
Understanding with LAN switch configurations, fiber optic backbone, and star topology is a plus
Understanding and knowledge of network mesh and SAN knowledge is a plus
Net+ or Sec+ is desired but not required
DoD Clearance is required
Travel up to 25%
Required Experience
BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
2-5 years of professional experience in network design and implementation, LAN/WAN interfacing security, internet protocols, TCP/IP, and network infrastructure
