McKean Defense is seeking a Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) familiar with Cameo, MagicDraw, and SysML to support program team with design and implementation of models and systems architectures for new ship systems. Roles include:
Working with program stakeholders to define requirements and conduct research in support of systems and data modeling
Performing system analysis, requirements gathering, and development
Creating SysML models within Cameo tool suite
Design and perform tests to verify functional validity of models
Perform verification and validation to ensure design meets requirements
Required Skills
Knowledgeable in SysML modeling and diagrams
Strong analytical skills
Works well both independently and as part of a team
Up to 25% travel may required
Required Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related STEM field.
Two (2) plus years of professional experience in Systems Engineering
Prior experience with Navy ship systems or industrial control systems is a plus
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
