    Information System Security Manager for NAVSEA client PMS 339T Division. Assist Navy Organization with Software and Information Technology (IT) efforts related to training system acquisition and Information Assurance (IA) accreditation.  This position will assist PMS 339 with all actions required to ensure systems achieve and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO).  Involved in the implementation of new security solutions, participation in the creation and or maintenance of policies, standards, baselines, guidelines and procedures as well as conducting vulnerability audits and assessments.

    Required Skills

    • Security + and/or CISSP Certified
    • Ability to provide Cyber Security (CS) management support services and assist the Navy Organization with software and Information Technology (IT) efforts related to training system acquisition and Information Assurance (IA) accreditation.
    • Proficiency with Navy Certification and Accreditation (C&A) processes; experience with ISFO and RMF processes PREFERRED.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
    • Proven problem solver, team player and self starter that works well independently or in workgroup environments.
    • Proficiency in preparing and maintaining program briefings, position papers, spreadsheets, reports, and draft responses to Congressional, DoD, media, and industry queries, as tasked.
    • Ability to create and/or update databases and spreadsheet-analysis data in electronic formats compatible with NAVSEA-approved, web-based document sharing initiatives in support of programs to include availability planning and execution status and financial and budget updates.
    • Experienced and highly competent in communications and interfacing with program stakeholders, as required, including resource sponsors, senior navy staff, other program office codes, NAVSEA technical codes, Naval Surface Warfare Centers, NAVAIR, NAVWAR, TYCOMs, ISICs, Port Engineers, NAVSUP Weapons Systems Support (WSS), Program Manager Representatives (PMRs), other contractors, Supervisors of Shipbuilding, Regional Maintenance Centers, Master Ship Repair (MSR) Contractors, Naval Shipyards, Planning Yards and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).

    Required Experience

    • 5 years experience in Information Assurance, Computer Science or a related field
    • Experience with IT processes and databases to include DIACAP, RMF, VRAM, eMASS, etc.
