    McKean is looking to hire a Mid-Level/Senior Logistics Support Specialist experienced with the requirements outlined Military Regulations, Military Specifications, and Military Handbooks including:

    Responsibilities: • Work as a member of a Logistics Team in Support of Army Watercraft Integrated Product Support (IPS). • Conduct routine scheduled maintenance on the Army’s Modular Causeway System. • Demonstrates some independence in planning time and using assigned resources to accomplish tasks/assignments and/or small projects. • Care for tools and supplies. • Fill out required forms and records for maintenance actions. • Track all maintenance and supply records. • Develop weekly, monthly, and as required reports. • Maintain inventories of all assigned equipment. • Research part data using LogiQuest. • Maintain work folders on a server. • Assist team members as required. • Attend team meetings.

    Required Skills

    • Familiarity and experience with HM&E shipboard equipment on Military Vessels. • Experience in conducting Crew and Unit Level Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) on Military Vessels. • Knowledge and use of hand tools and lubrication equipment. • Knowledge and use of military maintenance publications to include lubrication orders. • Knowledge of the military supply system. • Above average computer skills with the ability to learn and use government programs and data bases including Microsoft Access. • Experience with parts ordering, part top-down breakout structure, parts catalogs, maintenance of HM&E shipboard equipment, and repair parts technical manuals. • Candidate must have active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain the required clearance.

     

     

    Required Experience

    • Proficiency in the use of standard windows operating systems and programs. • Knowledge and use of Military Standard, MIL-STD 40051 Preparation of Digital Technical Information for Technical Manuals, Army Regulation 700-127 Integrated Logistics Support, and Army Regulation 700-18 Provisioning of US Army Equipment. • Experience in analyzing and interpreting Technical Data Packages (TDP) for required Part Data. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Military HM&E.
