Job Summary

The Direct Care Specialist is the first line of defense for our group homes. Noels Residence values a family environment where residents are challenged and encouraged to participate in the day to day activities within the home and in the community. As a DCS staff member, you can have a lasting impact on the quality of life of our clients, as well as enjoy a fun and rewarding work environment. We are seeking a Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of individuals with special needs by enhancing their quality of life.

Responsibilities

Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing

Assist with mobility, and walking when neccessary

Prepare meals and snacks

Light housekeeping activities

Dispense medication

Provide companionship

Assist with daily chores and taska

Encourage residents to participate in daily tsdks and activities

Complete daily documentation such as ( shift end reports/ checklists, and incident reports)

Drive and accompany residents on outings

Qualifications

First aid and CPR-certified

Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills

Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

High school diploma

Valid drivers license
