    Job Description

    As our first dedicated US-based SDR hire, you will be at the forefront of our U.S. expansion and excited to work in our scrappy startup team as we tackle this new market.

    Your primary responsibility will be to initiate and drive the sales process, engaging with potential clients and creating opportunities for growth. This role has ownership of all leads, so the bulk of the day to day is getting your hands dirty and doing the outbound calling and follow-up.

    We have been scaling our business in Australia and have already proven market fit in the U.S., but so far haven't been able to dedicate the time needed to grow quickly in this larger market. We have no direct competition in our niche industry, so we're ready to build on our momentum, invest, and increase our customer base. This role will have the chance to be part of building this market - with the opportunity to evolve the role into more of the end to end sales process and accelerate your career development with us.

    Main responsibilities:

    • Conduct outbound calls to prospective clients from existing leads lists and through your own research
    • Qualify leads and set up appointments for our CEO for more technical discussions about our product
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance lead generation strategies
    • Attend in-person events and conferences to represent the company, build relationships in the industry, and generate leads
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities

    This is a fully remote role based in the USA, with a base salary range of $50k-70k with an OTE of $80-100k.

    Our team is headquartered in Brisbane, Australia. There is an expectation of being able to communicate with us during Australian business hours, so ideally you are based where there is a reasonable crossover of work hours between our locations.

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to thrive in an autonomous, fast-paced startup environment
