    NOMADICS is currently seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Engineer with a focus on munitions development to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, testing, and optimizing mechanical systems and products, particularly in the field of munitions. Your innovative ideas and technical expertise will contribute to the success of our projects and drive our mission forward.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design and develop mechanical systems and products, with a specific focus on munitions development
    • Conduct thorough research to identify optimal materials, components, and manufacturing processes for munitions projects
    • Utilize CAD software to create detailed drawings, schematics, and models for munitions systems
    • Test and evaluate prototypes to ensure they meet stringent performance and safety standards required for munitions applications
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives
    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to manufacturing and production teams during the development and implementation of munitions systems
    • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering, particularly as they relate to munitions technology

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred
    • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on munitions development or related fields
    • Proficiency in CAD software, preferably CREO, for designing and modeling mechanical systems
    • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, particularly in the context of munitions engineering challenges
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a proven track record of collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
