    Job Description

    As the Non-Ferrous Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our non-ferrous division, ensuring safe, efficient, and productive processing of materials. This role is responsible for driving operational performance, developing team members, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting the continued growth of the business.

    What you're responsible for:

    • Leading the daily operations of the non-ferrous warehouse, including receiving, sorting, processing, and storing materials.
    • Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with all company policies and environmental, health, and safety standards.
    • Managing inventory levels, monitoring inventory turnover, and maintaining inventory accuracy through regular audits and reporting.
    • Developing, tracking, and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
    • Coaching, mentoring, and developing a team of employees to support engagement, performance, and growth.
    • Identifying opportunities to improve workflows, material handling processes, and overall operational performance.
    • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to support business objectives while overseeing a high-value non-ferrous operation.
  • Qualifications

    • You have 5+ years of experience in non-ferrous recycling, metals processing, or a related industry.
    • You have experience identifying, grading, and sorting non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, brass, and stainless steel.
    • You have proven leadership experience managing warehouse, production, or industrial operations teams.
    • You are skilled at developing employees, improving team performance, and creating a positive work environment.
    • You have experience managing inventory, monitoring performance metrics, and driving operational efficiency.
    • You are safety-focused and understand the importance of maintaining a strong safety culture.
    • You have strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
    • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to operational growth and change.
