    AerSale – Non-Licensed Aircraft Mechanic

    Location: open to all sites 
    Pay: $24–$36/hr DOE
    Travel Pay: $500

    About the Role

    AerSale is seeking skilled Non-Licensed Aircraft Mechanics to support inspection, repair, modification, and overhaul of commercial and cargo aircraft. This position works in a high-volume MRO environment with hands-on tasks across multiple aircraft platforms.

    Candidates with strong mechanical aptitude—whether from aviation, military, automotive, diesel, or related fields—are encouraged to apply.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform routine and non-routine aircraft maintenance tasks under the supervision of licensed personnel.

    • Assist in troubleshooting, component removals/installs, and system repairs.

    • Follow maintenance manuals, technical data, and work instructions.

    • Complete task documentation accurately and ensure work meets FAA and company standards.

    • Use hand tools, power tools, and ground support equipment safely and correctly.

    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.

    • Support A&P mechanics, inspectors, and leads as needed to meet production goals.

    Qualifications

    • Previous mechanical experience required; aviation or military preferred.

    • Ability to read and understand basic aircraft manuals and technical instructions.

    • Familiarity with safe use of aircraft tools and equipment.

    • Must supply own basic toolset.

    • Ability to work overtime and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced MRO setting.

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
