    Location: Pasco & Pinellas County, FL Employment Type: Full-Time The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the association while ensuring the successful execution of organizational goals, partner services, events, communications, and administrative functions. This leadership role requires strong organizational skills, relationship management, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, community-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently while collaborating closely with board members, sponsors, partners, vendors, and community leaders. The Director of Operations will also play a key role in developing and expanding relationship-driven networking groups and focus groups that support the mission and growth of the organization. Compensation & Benefits • Competitive salary based on experience • Matching retirement plan • Opportunities for professional growth and community leadership • Flexible and collaborative work environment • Meaningful role supporting local business development and community impact Responsibilities: Operations Administration • Manage daily operations of the association • Oversee organizational processes, systems, and workflows • Maintain partner databases, records, and reporting • Coordinate board meetings, agendas, minutes, and follow-up items • Assist with budgeting, invoicing, expense tracking, and financial reporting • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures Partnership Community Engagement • Serve as a primary point of contact for partners and prospective partners • Support partner recruitment, onboarding, retention, and engagement initiatives • Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, sponsors, and community leaders • Develop and grow relationship-driven networking groups and focus groups within the organization • Coordinate partner communications and announcements, Event Planning Execution • Plan, coordinate, and execute networking events, mixers, workshops, focus groups, and special events. Manage event logistics, including venues, vendors, registrations, sponsorships, and event promotion • Oversee event timelines and ensure smooth onsite execution • Track attendance, sponsorship fulfillment, and event performance metrics Marketing Communications • Assist with social media management, email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and website updates. Coordinate promotional materials and partner communications • Help maintain the organization’s public image and community presence • Collaborate on marketing strategies to increase visibility and partnership growth, and provide strategic support • Support the Board of Directors in implementing organizational goals and initiatives • Help identify opportunities for operational improvements and growth • Participate in strategic planning and organizational development efforts Qualifications: Required Qualifications • 3+ years of operations, association management, nonprofit management, event coordination, or administrative leadership experience • Strong organizational and project management skills • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM/database systems, and social media platforms • Experience with event planning and nonprofit or community organizations preferred • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Professional, personable, and relationship-driven mindset Preferred Skills • Experience working with chambers of commerce, business associations, nonprofits, or community organizations • Familiarity with sponsorship coordination and partner engagement strategies • Basic bookkeeping or financial administration experience • Graphic design or marketing platform experience is a plus Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 yearly
