    Full-time, hybrid work environment (3 days per week in office)

    The Nonprofit Development Associate will work to further our mission of equity, inclusion, and diversity. This person will provide support our development team to secure grant funding, network with donors, and achieve fundraising goals.     RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE NONPROFIT FUNDRAISING AND DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE:

    • Work closely with leadership and teams to research funding resources for different organizational needs
    • Develop a standardized grant application process by generating grant templates that include general language about our mission, capacity, goals, projects, board, etc.
    • Submit grant applications and any requested follow-up documentation
    • Track and submit all grant-closeout reporting documents
    • Assist in data collection and analysis, preparing proposals, reports, and research as needed
    • Support communications efforts and resident services efforts as it relates to fundraising. This includes, but is not limited to, quarterly reports to the Board of Directors and year-end public reports on how fundraising dollars supported various organizational initiatives
    • Create relationships with donors through thank-you letters, birthday reminders, year-end holiday cards/thank you gifts, and more
    • Work alongside leadership to execute existing fundraising activities
    • Support in the development of new fundraising events including timelines, vendor relations, outreach, and event logistics
    • Track and organize donor activity in CRM database
    • Manage social media posts/email campaigns regarding fundraising activities
    • Performs other comparable duties as assigned

     

    REQUIREMENTS OF THE NONPROFIT FUNDRAISING AND DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Experience providing assistance to individuals and groups facing difficulties such as economic disadvantages, unemployment, abuse and neglect, substance abuse, aging, disabilities, and inadequate housing
    • Familiarity with grant writing processes
    • Exceptional written, editing, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with all levels of employees and partners
    • A self-starting, detail-oriented individual that can complete tasks with limited supervision
    • Donor relations, project management, marketing, and event management experience will increase the strength of an applicant
    • Spanish proficiency nice to have
    • Ability to work some evenings and weekends, as required for certain events (infrequent, once or twice every few months)
    • Proven ability to work with diverse groups of people and professionals of all levels and disciplines
