Description
Manages Equipment Spare Part purchasing process for the MRO group.
Ensures quotes, purchase orders, and materials are processed to meet production targets.
Manages relationships with all suppliers to ensure they are aware of our targets and understand our procurement process.
Manages Equipment Spare Part purchasing process for the MRO group.
Serves as the MRO group's direct liaison with internal Procurement
group.
Meets regularly with procurement contact to develop purchasing process
strategies and supplier management.
Secures quotes for all needed inventory items.
Reviews MRP daily requirements to determine correct reorder levels
and quantities.
Manages all open RFQ's and open purchase orders to ensure there is no
downtime impact to production.
Interacts will all Maintenance departments to review current and future
inventory ordering requirements.
Provides daily task requirements to outsource personnel assisting in
purchasing process.
Understands and models VPS (Value Added Production System) Principles
and concepts of Standard Work and Problem Solving.
Adheres to 5S and Safety Standards and Principles.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
