Job Title: Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Inspector

Pay rate: $50.00 to $70.00
Job Description / Justification:
Responsibilities:
- Conducting a variety of nondestructive inspections, including visual inspections and nondestructive testing on metallic and composite parts.
- Utilizing a range of nondestructive techniques such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle testing, and visual inspections.
- Performing inspections using conventional inspection methods.
- Handling special projects as directed by Quality Management.
Key Accountabilities:
- Regularly conducting NDT evaluations of metallic and composite parts using various techniques.
- Carrying out routine site inspections to perform non-destructive testing activities.
- Preparing detailed inspection reports based on findings from the evaluations.
- Maintaining organized records of assigned inspection files and results.
- Qualifications:
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- The ideal candidate should have experience in non-destructive testing methods such as visual testing, ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, liquid penetrant testing, ground penetrating radar, or other alternative NDT methods.
- Possession of relevant certifications or formal training in NDT is desirable.
- This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively independently or within a team.
- Good communication skills are also essential for preparing accurate inspection reports.
