Company located in New York, NY is looking for a Payroll/HR Coordinator to start ASAP!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducts recruitment effort for exempt and nonexempt personnel, students and temporary employees; conducts new employee orientations; monitors career-pathing program; and administers the company applicant tracking system (ATS). Provides other support in the talent acquisition process including sourcing talent, pre-screening resumes, in-person/phone interviews, reference/background checks, liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, industry associations and completing timely reports on employment activity.
Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
Assists in the monitoring and administration of the performance evaluation program and ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
Assists in the on-going development, maintenance, and implementation of performance appraisal system and provides advice and recommendations to management and staff.
Analyzes and reports on measurement results. May develop and conduct presentations and training to management and staff on the performance appraisal system.
Assists in the development and implementation of training programs to ensure that individual employee and corporate needs are met.
Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
Participates in employee relations counseling, exit interviewing, and other off-boarding related processes.
Maintains company organization charts and other related headcount reporting.
Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals.
Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database, including governmental reporting such as EEO-1 report.
Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
Participates in staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
