Leading community health organization seeks a Grant Writer to assist in securing funding opportunities to support our programs and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other funding sources.
- Stay informed about funding trends, priorities, and requirements relevant to Phoenix House's mission.
- Collaborate with program managers, finance, and other stakeholders to gather information necessary for proposal development.
- Write and submit high-quality grant proposals, ensuring compliance with funder guidelines and deadlines.
- Develop compelling narratives that effectively communicate the mission, programs, and impact.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of funded projects and ensure compliance with grant requirements.
- Collaborate with program staff to collect and report data necessary for grant reporting.
- Work closely with finance to provide accurate financial information for grant reporting.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and potential funders.
- Contribute to the development of an annual grant strategy aligned with organizational priorities.
- Work collaboratively with the development team to integrate grant efforts into the overall fundraising strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- A minimum of 3 years of Grant Writing experience.
- Strong research and analytical skills to identify and evaluate potential funding opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and compellingly.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
