Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Orlando, Florida

Position Overview:

As a Material Handler, you will play a key role in our operations by ensuring the efficient handling, movement, and storage of materials within our facility. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing materials, and supporting various departments to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently handle, move, and store materials using appropriate equipment and procedures.

Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials.

Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.

Organize materials in designated storage areas.

Collaborate with other team members and departments to fulfill orders and support production processes.

Inspect materials for defects and report any issues to the supervisor.

Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (if applicable) in a safe manner.

Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role is preferred.

Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as required.

Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
