    POSITION: MULTIMEDIA PRODUCER

    DEPARTMENT: TECHNOLOGY OPERATIONS  

     

    SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    The Multi-Media Producer will direct, stage, and produce videos for information, presentation, or instruction. As the Multi-Media Producer, you will be primarily responsible for the execution of the editing of multimedia projects from A-Z. This will include, audio cleanup, motion graphics work, coloring, exporting, making revisions and delivery of final assets. This position works closely with others in the Media department, Social Media team, Faculty, Students as well as other groups across the college to ensure all aspects of video projects are produced on time and to expectation.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Executes the conception, development, and production of video and digital media content:

    • Shoot, edit videos, and create motion graphics, animation and other special effects under the direction of the Noorda-COM leadership.            

    • Catalog and tag all videos and maintain an organized database of all final files that are easily accessible.

    • Contribute to completing video modules and editing tasks in a timely and effective manner.

    • Ensure appropriate equipment is being utilized, such as the type of lens, lighting, etc.

    • Uses knowledge of production equipment and gear, camera and lighting setups, and experience directing on set to guide videography efforts.

    • Using Blackmagic devices and OBS to livestream various events at the college

    • Capturing photos using the Canon 5D MkIV during events and when needed with faculty during filming

     

    Actively engages in the advancement of the College:

    • Stay current with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines as it applies to videography and other multimedia assets.

    • Collaborate with faculty and participate in creative concept development and brainstorming for visual content.

    • Devise unique, creative ideas for new video features, content and enhancements that advance objectives and elevate video production quality.

    • Plan and capture photography for digital content aligned with the College’s key messages.

    • Monitor analytics data to recommended data-driven approaches for creation and distribution.

    • Produce high-quality results, all while under tight time constraints.

    • Performs such other duties as may be assigned or delegated.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education:           Bachelor's degree in Filmmaking, Video Production, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related degree.   (Equivalent years of experience may substitute for education).

    Experience:         At least two years of professional experience.

    Skills & Abilities:

    ·        Highly professional with honest, genuine, direct communication style, excellent interpersonal skills and emotional maturity with the essential ability to demonstrate tact, discretion and job diplomacy.

    • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks/projects in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.

    • Displays strong attention to detail, organization and file management skills.

    • This position requires superior communication both written and verbal with strong organizational skills.

    • Collaborates easily and is exceptional at listening and can build strong working relationships with internal and external partners.

    • Ability to work in a face-paced data-driven organization with presentation skills, knowledge of social media platforms, broadcast productions, and partnerships with external video production companies.

    • Knowledge of video production and post-production.

    • Experience in producing videos, casting talent, and securing locations.

    • Ability to film and edit video content.

    • Ability to record and edit audio content.

    • Proactive, innovative, versed in all aspects of integrated marketing.

    • Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and effectively handle frequent interruptions.

    • Innovative, resourceful, detail oriented, with excellent follow through skills.

    • Capable of balancing multiple projects in stressful situations while meeting deadlines, achieving desired results, and maintaining positive relations.

    • Understands the importance of confidentiality of data and information
