    Job Description

    Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Regional Trainer position. The Regional Trainer is responsible for contributing in the development and implementation of training programs for Team Members to increase their awareness and understanding of their job responsibilities, safety, compliance, and quality contributions. THIS IS A REGIONAL POSITION, AND WILL BE BASED OUT OF A NORCO LOCATION BUT TERRITORIES WILL COVER SPECIFIC AREA(S) WITH POSSIBLE TRAVEL TO OTHER REGIONS. THE REGIONAL TRAINER ROLE DOES NOT REQUIRE AN INDIVIDUAL TO RESIDE IN BOISE, ID. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Develop, maintain, implement, and execute an ongoing curriculum that helps to drive sales and promote excellent customer service. The content and program shall be reviewed and approved by Norco Leadership; support and identify priorities, measurable indicators, and communication plans for all initiatives aligned to the program
    • Develop and maintain an in depth knowledge of all Norco Medical Division systems, programs, policies, and procedures
    • Deliver high impact, succinct content to drive learning of company initiatives and processes
    • Organize and conduct training needs analysis; develop training recommendations, and coordinate training support for team members with Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) and Management to ensure consistency across the company
    • Educate on policies and procedures that establish a safety culture within Norco and recommend corrective and/or disciplinary action as needed
    • Perform internal compliance audits of Norco facilities and share results
    • Ensure employees are performing Norco procedures or manufacturer's recommendations in an appropriate manner
    • Participate in regional training workshops
    • Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION AND WORK QUALIFICATIONS

    • Associates or Bachelor Degree preferred
    • Five years experience in a similar environment

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    • Ability to read reports, computer screens, mobile devices, etc.
    • Ability to sit and/or stand (remain in a stationary position) for extended periods of time
    • Ability to move equipment up to 25 lbs, with or without assistance.
    • Ability to have mobility within the office, including movement from floor to floor
    • Ability to travel to other offices within a regional area
    • Ability to listen to and respond to spoken requests such as on a telephone, in a training session, or in a one-on-one meeting

    MENTAL DEMANDS

    • Ability to read, write, and interpret data accurately
    • Must have problem solving skills
    • Ability to make decisions 
    • Ability to organize projects and work processes
