    Job Description

    Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Industrial Pricing Specialist Position. The Industrial Pricing Specialist performs office duties for Sales, Operations, and Finance/Accounting regarding pricing management. This position educates the organization as needed on the established guidelines for pricing decisions. Strong understanding of the Norco operating system, the products we provide and how the customers derive value from them is critical to the role. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Support the consistent pricing plan for the organization
    • Train and educate on the benefit and details of the pricing plan
    • Monitor margin on price changes to ensure continuous improvement
    • Track, measure and execute price actions as necessary
    • Maintain the pricing files for contracted Norco customers (Supply agreements)
    • Reduce or eliminate overrides in order entry (daily price corrections and enhancement)
    • Maintain programs that drive margin awareness and improvement
    • Monitor educational and vendor discounts for appropriate alignment
    • Administrate CLC Corporate Lodging registration
    • Administer cylinder lease spiffs program
    • Manage all vendor rebates including monthly reporting and processes
    • Support gas broker accounts
    • Assist and support branches with 3rd party financing
    • Manage Norco drop ship customer orders
    • Support the commercial medical accounts as needed
    • Follow safe work procedures and ensure adherence to practice of safety daily
    • Perform other duties as assigned or needed
    • Adhere to all established procedures, policies, and safety rules
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Excellent time management, organization, and oral and written communication skills
    • Must be a self-starter, fast learner, strong individual contributor, and team player
    • Must have expert MS Excel skills and gain excellent CU TIMS functionality
    • Must have an ability to rapidly assimilate and synthesize information
    • Accurately enter data into computer and acquire a working knowledge of any software applications applicable to the position
    • Perform basic mathematic calculations
    • Read reports, computer screens, etc.
    • Able to perform multiple tasks at one time
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Ability to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time
