POSITION SUMMARY Nordic Light America seeks a highly motivated individual who is interested in a Customer Account Coordinator position. This role is focused on supporting our customers to assure timely delivery of their goods. The position involves everything from planning and placing purchase orders to entering and shipping customer orders on a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and place purchase orders with suppliers based on received forecasts from customers and internal Sales Team.
• Entering customer orders and confirming the orders with each customer.
• Communicate internally to Operations Manager and warehouse personnel regarding future production work orders.
• Track incoming shipments and communicate potential shipping delays to Sales Team and customers.
• Providing customer order status internally and externally.
• Interact daily with customers and internal staff to ensure all information is properly documented to ensure on time delivery.
• Provide support to the Sales Team regarding ongoing and future sales projects.
• This position will track cost and other performance metrics for projects to ensure project goals and objectives are being met.
• Use a computer application to manage large amounts of information, including creating and editing simple databases, inputting data, retrieving specific records, and creating reports to communicate the information.
• Perform other related admin duties as directed.

• A minimum of an associate degree or its equivalent in a related field
• 2-5 years or more of related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience in sales and service support and coordination.
• Intermediate personal computer skills, including electronic mail, scheduling, word processing, Excel spreadsheet, presentation, graphics, routine database activity.
