NCR MENU ADMIN – DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR - JOB DESCRIPTION

REPORTS TO:

IT Manager

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

OVERVIEW

As the NCR Menu Admin – Database Administrator and IT Support Technician, you will run point for all things NCR Aloha for 22 family diner restaurants. You will also assist the IT Manager with any IT-related needs for the Norms Support Center employees. Candidate will also assist when necessary with any POS software setups for new venue installations, and anything on the Norms Support Center helpdesk/IT side.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the NCR Aloha CFC menu database for 22 locations
• Act as the POS support liaison between Corporate, POS Vendor and Restaurant locations.
• Provide onsite and remote support for POS including training, configuration, monitoring and customization
• Assist with providing full Desktop Support Services for Norms office employees (hardware, software and mobile device)
• Perform hardware and software troubleshooting with Norms office employees.
• Provide assistance in installation, relocation and re-installation of equipment for Norms office when required.
• Develop and improve documentation to support problem analysis and resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ year in a help desk or POS support role
• Experience maintaining NCR Aloha POS systems
• Experience with Rosnet, OLO and Punchh is a plus
• Experience troubleshooting hardware/software products
• BS in Computer Science or related field is a plus, but not required
• Experience with networking concepts
• Strong communication and desire to grow is a must
• Customer Service Oriented is a must as you will be a point of contact for everything IT
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and great team player.
• Must be able to work independently with a high degree of self-initiative.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively contribute to multiple projects in an efficient manner
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changes in project priorities
• Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends.
