    THIS IS NOT A SOCIAL MEDIA POSITION. You will not be posting to any of our social media accounts, managing the accounts, or handling any aspect of our social media. This is a telephone job where you will be calling and talking to our clients and ensuring that they are happy and satisfied with our service, if they are not then you will help with coordinating to fix what is needed to guarantee our clients satisfaction.

    North American Recovery, a Utah based National Collection Agency, has established an impeccable reputation by providing exceptional service in the area of bad debt recovery over the last 28 years.

    We currently have a career opportunity for a polished, assertive, and dynamic professional in our Salt Lake City office. As our Client Service Representative, you will represent our company each day through daily interactions with our clients (the businesses we collect for) via phone calls and visits. Working closely with clients to ensure they are 100% satisfied with our collection services. 90% of this job will be handled inside of our office and 10% of this job is performed outside of our office. The position will require the use of your own car (you will be reimbursed for mileage and expenses) so you must have a reliable, professional vehicle.

    This job will consist of making proactive client service calls and/or emails to our clients each month to report collections progress and to find out if they have any concerns or frustrations. You will also coordinate picking up new accounts from their office.

    SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Energetic, reliable, and organized individual with 2 + years Client Service, Customer Service or Public Relations experience.

    • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

    • Effectively learn and use all tools and resources to meet our clients’ needs

    • Exceptional communication and client service skills to de-escalate challenging situations

    • Exceptional multi-tasking skills, attention to accuracy, and detail

    • Demonstrate a high sense of urgency by acting quickly on client requests and responding promptly to emails, messages, and voicemails.

    • Ability to manage client expectations, handle clients professionally and with empathy in order to retain, repair and build relationships with clients.

    • Ability to interact effectively with top-tier professionals.

    • Ability to work as a member of a team.

    • Ability to work with minimal supervision, multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.

    • Initiative and creativity in the client service process.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and working knowledge of computers.

    • Availability to work from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

    Associate degree in communications, public relations, business, or similar field.

    OR

    Experience in a high-level client service position is preferred but not required. (Client Service, Call Center, Client Relations, Senior Client Service Representative or Client Relations Supervisor experience a plus.)

    PAY Salary will be based on education, expertise and ability with a minimum starting pay of $20.00/hr. This is a top-level professional client service position for someone who wants to be part of an industry-leading team; it is NOT an entry-level customer service job.
