Supervises workload and balances priorities of the department while supporting the customer and focusing on corporate objectives, while retaining vendor management duties for the client’s vendor community.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Supervises the activities of the department, including KPI tracking.
Enforce department policy and procedures.
Strong contributor to employee performance evaluations.
Develop department metrics to track progress against SLA’s.
Interact with clients and vendors on a daily basis.
Support vendor initiatives including but not limited to:
- New Vendor Set-up
- Ongoing vendor management responsibility
- Enhanced EDI/FTP communications
Support Corporate Initiatives
- Take cost out of the supply chain; closely monitor and manage hourly labor
- Drive continuous department improvements
Maintain client set service levels
Some Travel is required.

- General formulas and functions (VLOOKUP, IF statements, SUM, AVG, etc)
- General data formatting knowledge
- Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts
- Basic data processing and analytical skills
- Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately
- Strong accounting background.
- Willing to work in a fast paced environment with diverse responsibilities.
Required Experience
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred but not required
- 2 to 5 years previous supervisory experience
