Seeking DEADLINE DRIVEN, HIGH VOLUME FINANCE & CREDIT ANALYST to join a Busy Finance & Credit Department!
North American Staffing Group is looking for a MOTIVATED Finance & Credit Analyst for our large client in Alpharetta, GA. This is a long-term contract position with no end date, working ONSITE with a world-wide, BUSINESS ESSENTIAL company.
- PAY: $26.00/Hour
- SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm (some overtime may be required)
- TYPE: W-2, Full-time, Long-term Contract (no end date), onsite with Client
- BENEFITS: Eligible for NASG Benefits after 60-days (Medical, Dental, Vision, Aflac, IRA)
- LOCATION: Onsite – Alpharetta, GA (Some remote work MAY be available)
The Finance and Credit Analyst is responsible for a variety of accounting and financial planning functions in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-INCLUSIVE)
- Month-end closing of financials: Journal entries, accruals & account reconciliations, data research and running queries
- Management Reporting: Data extraction and data mining, gross margin reports, customer reports, Actual to Budget variance analysis, Ad-hock reporting and report distribution
- Expense Budgeting: Preparing annual expense budget, quarterly updates, monthly variance analysis
- Margins Analysis: Preparing profit analysis schedules, Ad-hock analysis
- Customer Billing/Credit reporting
- Effective communication to Finance and Credit Team, informing of possible issues, brings awareness to anomalies
- Accurate Data Entry, under pressure of deadlines. Double checks data to make sure it is correct and referencing other documents to confirm accuracy.
EDUCATION & SKILLS:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel: Vlookup, Pivot-table, Building Links, ext
- Able to handle a large volume of data quickly and preform analysis for management review
- Experience with reporting and Gap analysis
- Exposure to large accounting systems, PeopleSoft, SAP is a plus
- Able to work calmly under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Able and willing to work overtime – 3-4 days at the end of each quarter.
- Attention to detail, able to catch errors and identify outliers
- Organized and able to switch-gears if deadlines or work priorities change
- Self-initiator and has a desire to make improvements
- Account degree is a plus
- Editing and proof reading skills.
