    General Description:

    Director, Employee and Occupational Health Services plans, structures, directs and leads Parrish Healthcare’s Occupational Health services. The position is responsible for overseeing operations of multiple clinic sites, including mobile services; developing and maintaining service lines; and coordinating and directing community outreach and client relations for Parrish Employee and Occupational Health Services. The position is responsible for directing the success of occupational and employee health service offerings that support the needs of local businesses and workers. Leads the establishment and maintenance of working relationships with local industries and employers to ensure issues are addressed and that the needs of the working community are met. The Director is responsible for promoting and demonstrating Parrish Healthcare’s Culture of Choice®. Ensures strategic goals and objectives are met or exceeded by providing the leadership, management and oversight necessary to ensure areas of responsibility have the proper resources, metrics and talent in place. The Director reports to the Vice President, Finance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Responsible for promoting and demonstrating Parrish Healthcare’s Culture of Choice®. Ensures strategic goals and objectives are met or exceeded by providing the leadership, management and oversight necessary to ensure areas of responsibility have the proper resources, metrics and talent in place. This includes providing performance management feedback and effective employee relations; hiring, orientation, and training and development.

    Oversees operation of Parrish Employee and Occupational Health Services, including multiple clinic sites and mobile services.

    Develops, expands and maintains service lines; coordinates and directs community outreach

    Leads the negotiation of contracts for employers, physicians, insurance companies and third party administrators with executive management oversight.

    Establishes, expands, and sustains relationships with employers, payers, referral sources, networks, local communities, etc. to drive growth and expansion of services.

    Establishes and maintains evidence-based standards to provide excellent patient/client outcomes.

    Coordinates process improvement efforts for clinical and administrative efficiencies toward improving patient/client outcomes and organizational performance

    Responsible to standardize processes to provide coordinated patient care and service excellence.

    Responsible for all key performance indicators for areas of responsibility including people, service, quality, finances and growth. Prepares and presents operational and financial reports as required.

    Responsible to maintain compliance with all state, federal and national standards within area of responsibility.

    Knows fire, disaster and safety procedures and regulations as pertains to the work area.

    Performs similar or related duties, as assigned.

    Requirements:

    Formal Education:

    Bachelor’s Degree required. Masters Degree preferred (Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field)

    Work Experience:

    >5 years increasingly responsible leadership experience with organization wide responsibilities.

    Required Licenses, Certifications, Registrations:

    Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (within first year)
