Outpatient EPIC Credential Trainer, Wake One Ed&Support-Clinical
32 hours a week, day shift
Job Summary: Collaborate with principle trainer, training manager, application coordinators and IT technical teams to deploy Epic training to the appropriate end users. Assess, design and deliver WakeOne training materials/curriculum for targeted end user populations. Facilitates curriculum, provide coaching and support for end users both inside and outside of class. Required to complete all CT training, successfully pass proficiency tests and credentialing process in order to train software.
Education / Experience: Associate's degree in education, healthcare or accredited clinical program with 2 years of facilitation/teaching experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in adult education, training, healthcare, inpatient/acute medical practice and/or EPIC Ambulatory preferred.

Essential Functions:
1. Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building. Includes: Following Medical Center and Departmental policies and procedures, contributing to the overall quality of services, and assuming responsibility for keeping informed about changes in policies and procedures.
2. Successful completion of the WFBH credentialing process, which involves passing a credentialing test with a minimum score of 85 percent and presenting an EPIC lesion to a panel. The panel includes a principal trainer, a representative from the project team and an EPIC representative (if required) certified in the application.
3. Assess, design and facilitate appropriate training and assessment sessions with end users. Includes: meeting with operational leaders to assess end user needs for the training program; Designing and developing electronic training, tip sheets and instructor-led training materials; Support and maintain the technical training environment (MST); Create and maintain training materials in consultation with build team and principle trainer; and, follow-up with end users on questions and concerns in a timely manner.
4. Assist with tracking of end user attendance, course completion and testing.
5. Builds rapport and promotes team work by maintaining a professional and positive attitude in the learning environment at all times, working to maintain open and professional lines of communication with all end users and colleagues, and utilizing key change management principles.
6. Assist principle trainer with adherence to the operational budget for the department and managing training supplies/materials.
