We are looking for a UX Analyst to join the Web team in our marketing department. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams todocument and maintain the user and business requirements for online products throughout the project lifecycle. You will also work closely with stakeholders and users to perform user experience (UX)-research activities including competitive, evaluative, and quantitative research. You must be passionate about human-centered design, and have a proven track record for leading research projects with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: Work closely with stakeholders to identify organizational goals and priorities related to a project Interview stakeholders, subject-matter experts, and users to help elicit understanding of user needs and goals when using an online product Collaborate cross-functionally with design, development, and QA to document and maintain the requirements Track and communicate insights, goals, and metrics to all project team members Develop and maintain a high-level understanding of our products and their application. Required skills: Bachelor degree in human-computer interaction, User Experience Design, Cognitive Science, Experimental Psychology or a related field (transcripts required) 5 years of industry work experience conducting user experience research using a range of qualitative research methods (ex. Usability testing, interviews, surveys, card sorting, and tree testing) Must be able to provide samples of work Exceptional analytical skills: Ability to ask meaningful and impactful questions; awareness of and avoidance of bias Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills Excellent observation and recording skills Competency using at least one (preferably several) of the following tools for creating artifacts: Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch 3, Fireworks, Axure, Indesign, Balsamiq, Visio, Omnigraffle Ability to work in agile and waterfall development environments Familiarity with Web Analytics packages a plus but not required Able to work with large data sets, Advanced-level Excel, T-SQL and relational databases would be a plus, but not required Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status. - provided by Dice
