The North Penn Water Authority in Lansdale, Pa is seeking a part-time Administration and Public Relations Assistant.  The ideal candidate is someone who has administrative skills and a basic knowledge of administrative and Public Relations procedures.  A willingness to learn about social media and public relations as it pertains to a municipal water authority is also required. 

This position will report to the Administration and Public Relations (APR) Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Work with Community Relations Coordinator and Administrative Assistants on various public relations and administrative functions.
• Assist with PR related duties, including researching and drafting social media posts.
• Assist with Administrative duties, including answering phones, photocopying, and preparation of correspondence and documents as needed.
• Monitor media for NPWA and water related news and events.
• Assist in coordinating and maintaining Igloo containers for various events.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• Administrative skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Self-motivated
• Solid writing and grammar skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Physical strength to lift approximately 20 lbs.

HOURS: PART TIME - 15 HOURS/WEEK, FLEXIBLE BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8 A.M. AND 5 P.M., MONDAY TO FRIDAY.
