North Salem, New York family seeks an extremely organized, energetic and detailed oriented part-time housekeeper to assist in the hands-on management of their home. The schedule for this role is Thursday to Sunday, roughly 30 hours weekly. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: performing all aspects of general housekeeping and museum-quality cleaning, maintaining the residence for guest readiness at all times, laundry, running errands, and dog care. Must be comfortable working alongside House Manager and Chef.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of general housekeeping, deep cleaning, and upkeep of the residence
• Ability to perform museum-quality cleaning with proficiency in special surfaces (wood, glass, leather, antiques, silver, etc.)
• Completing the family’s laundry including washing and ironing clothes as necessary or needed
• Superior organization skills and willingness to go above and beyond in all aspects of the job
• Maintaining residence for guest readiness at all times
• Willingness to run routine errands such as dry cleaners, groceries, etc.

Requirements

Fluent in English, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Excellent references required from both current and previous employers

Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities

Polished, poised, and professional; always use of utmost discretion and confidentiality

Legally able to work in the United States
