    Job Description

     

    North Scottsdale Women's Health is currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic applicant to fill the position of Office Administrator.  Our practice provides Obstetric and Gynecologic care to women of all ages and is located near Honor Health Shea Hospital.  We have 5 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners and offer complete Obstetrical and Gynecologic services including on-site ultrasound, lab facilities, in-office procedures and minor surgeries.  In addition, we have a growing aesthetics practice within our facility. 

    This is a full time opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced professional with excellent communication skills, impeccable organizational qualities and management experience.  Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree at minimum.

    The Office Administrator is responsible for maintaining the day to day operations of our practice with duties including, but not limited to:

    Management of front and back office staff including hiring, reviews, payroll, schedules and maintenance of personnel records

    Maintain, develop and implement office policies and procedures

    Ensure efficient and accurate credentialing and licensing of all physicians and nurse practitioners

    Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA and other regulatory requirements.

    Assist physicians with maintaining call schedules and hospital/administrative activities

    Manage vendor relationships including IT, lab and building services.

    Work directly with accountant, bookkeeper and billing department

    Maintain electronic medical records (Athena) and reports

    Daily reconciliation of practice accounting

    Coordinate weekly meetings with the physician owners as well as regular meetings with office staff.

    Required skills include experience and ability working with an electronic medical record system, both on Practice Management and Clinical sides. Athena knowledge a plus.  

    Salary for the position will be commensurate with the applicant’s experience and education.
