    Job Description

    The North Seattle Veterinary team invites you to be our newest Client Care Coordinator!

    We are an independent, women-owned small business serving our Seattle community for over 30 years in the Northgate area. Our goal is to practice high quality, collaborative medicine; making sure our clients feel at home and part of the decision making process in their pet's veterinary care. Our clinic and team has a wealth of experience and personality and we encourage personal growth, positivity and a healthy dose of humor. (We also supply snacks and caffeine for those tougher days!)

REPORTS TO: Practice Owners, Manager, Front Desk Manager The client care co-ordinator is the client's first contact when calling or visiting our practice and as such represents the professional image of our practice to callers and visitors. They answer telephones and emails, greet clients, prepare patient files, receive and relay client correspondence, update client financial records and process client invoices. The exceptional client care co-ordinator has the ability to diffuse negative client situations and foster client bonding while working to maintain a positive team environment within the hospital.

    EDUCATION AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Background of customer service/reception in a busy office environment or veterinary clinic preferred.
    •  Typing skills required.
    •  Computer knowledge required; experienced with Word, keyboarding, and use of communication tools such as email/internet.

    EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • Significant experience with basic office functions and multiple phone lines in a busy office environment.
    • Previous reception and veterinary practice experience is preferred but not required.
