Framatome is seeking a Thermal-Hydraulic Engineer for our Horn Rapids Road office in Richland, Washington.
Primary responsibilities include:
Prepare and apply nuclear reactor thermal-hydraulic models for plant safety analyses and be involved in the preparation of engineering documents (calculations, reports, functional requirements, Final Safety Analysis Reports, etc.) in support of emergent issues, fuel reloads, proposed changes in fuel designs or operating strategies. Perform analysis to support Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) reload core design and licensing. Assess proposed changes in fuel designs or operating strategies, and resolve plant operation issues and evaluate changes in analytical methods. Work is performed in compliance with Nuclear Regulatory Commission regulated policies and procedures, and includes interface with internal and external customers on technical issues.
All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this opportunity:
Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.

The range of base salary for the position is between $95,035.00 - $105,000.00/year. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.

The qualified candidate will include:
● Master Degree in Speech Pathology accepted (doctorate degree preferred)
● Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a variety of settings
● Current ASHA Certification and eligibility for licensure by Commonwealth of Virginia
● Minimum of 3 years of Clinical Supervision experience (interns or Clinical Fellows)
● Meet ASHA requirements for Clinical Supervision
● Familiarity with CAA and Council for Clinical Certification in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CFCC) standards of practice
● Expertise or desire to educate students about broader health topics including interprofessional education, global health issues and evidence-based practice.
● Excellent oral and written communication, administrative, public relations, and marketing skills
● Demonstrate professional leadership
● University teaching experience a plus
● Bilingual skills a plus
● Experience with singing voice or voice disorders a plus
