    THIS ROLE IS WITH THE DOLE FRESH VEGETABLES (DFV) DIVISION.  DFV WILL PROVIDE INTERNAL CANDIDATES PRIORITY AND CONSIDERATION OF THEIR SUCCESS IN EXISTING AND PRIOR ROLES AS VALID EXPERIENCE.

     

     

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE

    This position participates in the delivery of value to specific internal and external business customers through the successful analysis, evaluation, implementation, and support of ERP systems for Dole Fresh Vegetables.

     

    Required Skills

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION

     

    • Lead and deliver Oracle Fusion cloud ERP implementation through analysis, planning, design, configuration, and testing.
    • Identify the required interfaces between Oracle fusion cloud and other enterprise applications at DFV . Define, build and deliver the identified system interfaces wherever required.
    • Identify, define, build and deliver PaaS solutions, where needed along with Oracle fusion ERP for various business functions.
    • Manage relationships with multiple business teams for successfully delivering ERP solutions and technical support. Engage in change management process with the business and IT teams, manage application change process, UAT and delivery.
    • Document complex user requirements, business process flow, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify systems. Write or verify QA / UAT test scripts.
    • Engage and collaborate with internal IT team members, vendors, system integrators and contractors in an onsite/remote/offshore model.
    • Research, analyze and evaluate new technologies to solve specific requirements for the business.
    • Develop and document an understanding of specific business unit’s objectives, priorities, and key performance indicators.
    • Analyze specific opportunities and identify improvements that directly support business objectives.
    • Participate as assigned in business systems projects.
    • Stay current on business systems technologies relevant to specific areas of responsibility.
    • Contribute to the overall success of the I.T. function.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

     

    Required Experience

    JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS)

     

    • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience, designing and implementing end-to-end Oracle Fusion cloud ERP solutions and working with relevant Oracle ERP applications.

    • Minimum 5 years of strong and in-depth experience working on comparable ERP implementation projects (preferably cloud and preferably Oracle stack) and delivering ERP solutions to various business areas including functional understanding in either one of Finance, Supply Chain, WMS or Order Management.

    • Minimum 5 years of system analysis and data analysis experience. Ability to perform fit/gap analysis of ERP systems for the business processes and analyze as-is vs to-be processes.

    • Experience with Oracle cloud technology such as OIC, OCI, BI Publisher, OTBI. Experience with APEX / VBCS a plus.

    • Hands-on experience in and excellent understanding of data integration and system interface building process.

    • Skilled to perform user provisioning, configuration, operation, and maintenance of Oracle Fusion.

    • Experience with cloud based (preferably Oracle) planning applications and BI technologies, a plus.

    • Proven analytical skills.

    • Experience with and excellent grasp of relational and dimensional data modeling would be plus.

    • Requirement definitions, process mapping, solution evaluation techniques, strong interpersonal communications, and presenting recommendations.

    • Experience working with a combination of offshore/onsite/remote team.

    • Strong mathematical and analytics skills, desired.

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently; ability to maintain positive working relationships.

    • Must be able to communicate clearly and possess good writing skills.

    Fosters and maintains good relationships with customers (end users) as well as mid and senior level management, vendors and IT colleagues to ensure successful completion and ongoing operation of project efforts. Communicates and sets appropriate expectations for projects and the resulting systems components.

    EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

    BA/BS degree in IT / computer science, business information systems or computer engineering from a 4-year accredited school or equivalent work experience.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, talk or hear to communicate, as well as maneuver around an array of equipment, bend, stoop and climb stairs. The employee must occasionally lift (including overhead) and/or up to 15 lbs.

    WORK HOUR REQUIREMENT _ _

    Ability to work beyond normal working hours (member of the after-hours support team; may be expected to work beyond the normal hours of duty where system failure or upgrade requires the knowledge and experience possessed).

    Ability to travel as < 25%
