Job Description

The Radiology Technologist Specialist coordinates departmental activities including equipment quality control and maintenance, inventory and ordering of supplies, departmental performance improvement, and policy development and radiation safety. Work requires interactions with North Shore Health (NSH) administration, medical staff and Sawtooth Mountain Clinic. The Radiology Technologist Specialist is also a working technologist who shares in taking call and holidays. Must be ARRT registered.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS (Preferred Qualifications)

• Three (3) years’ experience as a working RT(R). (Five (5) years as a working technologist with some experience in a leadership role.)
• Certificate or A.A.S. degree in Radiology (Bachelors of Science degree in Radiology or Health Management.)
• ARRT (R) Certification (ARRT (R) **** and Post Primary Certificates as applicable.)
