    Certified Dental Assistant Orthodontics We are searching for a Certified Dental Assistant to join our team in Beverly, MA. The ideal candidate should have a passion for working with children, be X-ray certified, be highly organized, and be comfortable working in a busy environment focused on quality patient care. Candidates with CDA credentials from the DANB and those with graduation from a CODA-accredited dental program will be given preference. The Certified Dental Assistant will be responsible for chairside assistance, taking radiographs, and maintaining accurate patient records. The position may also require occasional aid at the front desk. The office operates from Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in addition to 1 Saturday a month 8:30 am to 2:00 pm. Staff wears masks, gloves, face shields, and additional PPE as appropriate per dental infection control recommendations. Are you a Certified Dental Assistant or a Certified Orthodontic Assistant? This requires taking exams through DANB and is different from being a licensed dental assistant. Responsibilities: • Greet patients and prepare them for the doctor by removing elastics, brushing, and prepping teeth for bracket placement • Using 3D printer to make models and making thermoform plastic retainers • Helping clean and organize the patient areas • Helping the front desk with light responsibilities • Taking records for Orthodontic patients - X-rays, photos, iTero scans • Learning and implementing the Lightforce indirect bonding system and Invisalign bonding system for attachments Qualifications: • 1 year of dental assisting experience (Preferred) License/Certification • Ideal candidate is a great team player • Ideal candidate is eager to acquire new skills, as our office is largely a digital practice and growing • Ideal candidate is a good communicator and is friendly with patients, putting patient/ family needs first • Ideal candidate is prompt and looks for things to do that will improve the office environment during downtime • X-Ray Certification (Required) Compensation: $40,000 - $60,000
