Job Description

Democratic Political Firm is seeking qualified staff to perform field marketing and canvassing for a competitive political race in Northeastern Queens. Our teams launch daily to have door-to-door conversations with voters about the importance of the upcoming elections in New York City, and collect signatures for ballot access petitions. This requires registration with the NYS Democratic Party, ability to use a smartphone, and follow a script to have impactful conversations with targeted voters. This is an entry level campaign position and requires no prior experience. We will train the right candidates. Financial incentives and room for promotion. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Requirements: * Registered as a Democrat in the State of New York * Absolute confidentiality with regard to all aspects of the campaign * The ability to comprehend messaging for and articulate issues related to the campaign * Regular communication of progress and submission of daily reports * Adherence to schedule and punctuality * The ability to communicate electronically at all times while working * The ability to schedule 7 days in advance * The ability to stand and walk for up to 5 hours at a time We are an equal opportunity employer.
