    Job Description

    Join NSI’s software team to create next generation X-ray imaging and computed tomography software for inspection and failure analysis of industrial parts.

    • Validate and support software for use in X-ray imaging and computed tomography acquisition, processing and visualization.
    • Develop and automate regression test plans for new and existing software
    • Design and implement unit tests for core software functionality
    • Manage customer reported issues
      • Troubleshoot the issue
      • Document the reproduction scenario
      • Confirm that the proposed fix resolves the issue
    • Create technical documentation that describes fixes and new features including:
      • Changelog
      • Release notes
      • Service bulletins
      • Software manuals
    • Perform minor and maintenance release process
      • Benchmark beta version
      • Run regression tests on production machines
    • Maintain communication channel with customers
      • Feedback forums
      • Online channels
      • Emails
      • Telephone calls
    • Assist service department during system installations and troubleshooting
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Proficient with C# or Java, C++, familiarity with scripting environments
    • Self-motivated and solid problem-solving abilities
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Team player - provide constructive feedback, and assist and contribute on other projects/tasks
    • Detail oriented
    • Flexible and adaptable to evolving specifications
    • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field is preferred
