Job Description

NSI’s Digital Radiography Specialist supports the full product line of Imaging Equipment, X-ray University, and the Inspection Service Group. X-ray University support includes training customers via classroom offering, onsite visits, at NSI locations or remote sessions. Support for Inspection Services will include developing and sustaining an interpretation program along with Level 3 assigned duties in accordance with NAS 410.

What you will do:

• Provide software support, advanced training, technique development, and general assistance to NSI customers via customer onsite, NSI Locations, or remote as required for imaging or troubleshooting.
• Provide operator training on x-ray imaging systems including software applications, general operational theory, robots, and basic maintenance.
• Manage the Inspection Service Interpretation Program development, process, and execution.
• Provide internal and external audit support for Inspection Services.
• Level 3 duties as designated and assigned.
• 60% of the position involves training the end user on our efX software /advanced software features.
• Assist in completing technical manuals, work instructions, and procedures.
• Create and revise NSI training material for internal or external use.
• Read and interpret customer and industry specs, codes, and standards.
• Assist manufacturing with system integration and factory acceptance tests.
• Work with application engineers on developing scanning techniques using proprietary imaging software for customer-specific applications.
• Travel up to 60%.

Qualifications

What you bring:

• An Associates or Bachelor's degree in a technical field
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft and Adobe programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint including but not limited to data extraction via advanced features in Excel, Presenter, and creating and converting Word documents into PDF format.
• Ability to read technical information involving industry specs, code, and standards.
• Ability to read drawings.
• Ability to maintain composure in high pressure situations.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Experience in delivering training in classroom and hand-on settings.
• Experience with resolving technical issues in a highly sensitive environment.
• Experience in working at all levels in an organization.
• Level 3 Qualifications in the Aerospace industry (NAS 410)
