The position requires travel to various locations in North Texas and Internationally for coordination of projects and manufacturing that are in various stages of completion. It may also require coordinating projects won. The position requires applicants to be self-sufficient, motivated and outgoing.
Required:
Bachelors Degree, North Texas Resident, Self-Motivated, Excellent Speaking and Listening Skills
Specific job duties include, but are but not limited to:
· Generate and manage equipment and parts sales in North Texas. · Assist in the design of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants and all ancillary process equipment to prepare budget proposals, support design drawings, specifications, bids and startup of projects. · Use your knowledge and experience to assist our clients, which include Engineering Firms, Cities and Municipalities, Contractors, and Manufacturers of Equipment. · Maintain a database of sales leads and contact dates. · Maintain website access to client purchasing portals and consistently review for project postings and updates. · Possibly Coordinate projects from bids through submittals and equipment startups. · Review specifications and assemble an equipment matrix for each project in your portfolio. · Assist with commissioning, startup, and witnessing testing of equipment at factories (overseas travel may be required). · Prepare technical lunch-and-learn presentations that may be in person or via teleconference. · Host/attend various marketing pursuits and seminars across the assigned territory. · Attend various Trade Shows and Events to network within the territory and overseas as needed. · Understand and work within project budgets.
Preferred:
BS in Engineering
Candidates with a proactive approach and a positive attitude are encouraged to apply. We will consider candidates who live in North Texas or other areas of Texas who are willing to relocate to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. EIT's with BS in Engineering with an emphasis in water & wastewater will be given preference. Applicants with a BA in Business, Finance, Marketing or Sales may be considered. Prior sales experience is not required but given preferential consideration. We may be willing to train the right candidate.
Salary Range: $50,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus commission.
