    Job Description

    PROGRAM ASSISTANT – NORTH TEXAS STATE SOCCER ASSOCIATION OLYMPIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

    This position assists primarily in support of all Olympic Development Program operations and Cup and Games of the association.

    Position Description

    This position has the following major responsibilities:

    • Provides information assistance and/or referrals in response to daily correspondence and inquiries received from members across the state regarding any ODP matters.
    • Create and maintain all player records (Player pools, attendance, state, and regional camp rosters)
    • Maintain accurate accounting records of player payments
    • Assist in preparations and organization of all state and regional ODP activities.
    • Works on-site as needed at selected state and regional activities to include, but not limited to: State ODP tryouts, Sub-regional events, Regional ODP Camp, and the Annual General Meeting.
    • Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, initiates new events to serve members and advance the ODP in North Texas.
    • Ordering and maintaining inventory of all ODP equipment and supplies.
    • Understands the bylaws, policies, and programs of North Texas Soccer

    to answer inquiries.

    ·         Assist with managing social media platforms

    ·         Fulfill all other tasks as assigned to accomplish the goals of the association.

    Candidates for this position must possess the following qualifications:

    • Superior oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to understand and process directions from multiple staff members
    • Effective organizational skills for managing multiple tasks.
    • Experience working with volunteers, preferably in a non-profit environment.
    • An earned bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline.
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds at North Texas Soccer events
    • Advance knowledge about Microsoft Office and related computer applications including the internet.

     

    This position will report to the Director of Operations at North Texas State Soccer Association in Frisco, Texas.  Please no phone calls.

    North Texas Soccer is a Texas non-profit, 501(c)(3) Tax Exempt Corporation formed to promote, foster, and advance the cause of soccer for youth and adults within its territory. It shall be the mission of North Texas Soccer to educate, provide administrative service, promote and stimulate interest in the game of soccer. North Texas Soccer is a member of United States Youth Soccer, United States Adult Soccer, United States Soccer Federation and Federation Internationale de Football Association.
