    LOCATION: NORFOLK, VA TITLE: ALARM MONITOR SCHEDULE (FT/PT): PT (8 HRS/WEEK) TRAVEL REQUIRED: NONE  CLEARANCE: SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED

DUE TO EXECUTIVE ORDER 14042, YOU MAY BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE PROOF OF COVID19 VACCINATION TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION. JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Conduct security checks of areas identified as high value/mission critical/restricted areas.
    • Monitor Lenel Security system equipment for proper operation; check the monitoring station for current problems displayed; check the Digital Video Recorders (DVR) are on line and functioning.
    • Inventory keys and badges at the beginning of each shift utilizing electronic log book and note any discrepancies.
    • Provide information and assistance to employees, visitors and guests.
    • Control issue and maintain an electronic record of visits.
    • Verify all personnel entering the facility.
    • Issue a temporary visitor's badge to visitors and non-badged personnel.
    • Issue visitor badges only to individuals with official business.
    • Retrieve temporary issued visitor's badges at the end of the day.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Proficient in MS Office Suites.
    • Hours will vary.
