    LOCATION: NORFOLK, VA TITLE: ALARM MONITOR SCHEDULE (FT/PT): PT TRAVEL REQUIRED: NONE  CLEARANCE: FINAL SECRET CLEARANCE

    Summary of Duties:

    • Monitor and execute site security checks on critical assets, restricted areas, communications facilities, and rear parking lot.
    • Conduct security checks of areas identified as high value/mission critical/restricted areas at a minimum every four (4) hours to verify areas are properly secured.
    • Monitor the CCTVs . Monitor Level Security system equipment for proper operation; check the monitoring station for current problems displayed; check the Digital Video Recorders (DVR) are on line and functioning.
    • Notify personnel of any irregularities noted in the security system.
    • All controllable items, i.e. keys and badges shall be controlled and properly maintained, identified, and secured.
    • Keys and badges shall be inventoried and or accounted for at the beginning of each shift utilizing electronic log book entry identifying inventory complete and note any discrepancies.
    • Provide information and assistance to employees, visitors and guests.
    • Control issue and maintain an electronic record of visits
    • Verify all personnel entering the facility
    • Issue a temporary visitor's badge to visitors
    • Issue visitor badges
    • Retrieve temporary issued visitor's badges at the end of the day.

    QUALIFICATIONS

      • High School Diploma or equivalent
        • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
        • Secret Security Clearance
